On this Giving Tuesday, we are excited to announce the winner of our Happy °µÍø½ûÇøsgiving Challenge. Congratulations to Nine13sports on receiving the most votes and taking home the biggest check!
We are humbled and inspired by the service each of the four non-profit organizations provide for our community. Each organization will receive a donation from °µÍø½ûÇø as a thank you for their dedication to service and participation in this fun challenge. ÌýNine13sports /ÌýKids Building Bikes was founded in Indianapolis and gets youth ages 8-15 working with tools as they learn basic mechanical and problem-solving skills while also increasing their self-confidence. Upon completion of the program, their graduates earn a brand-new bicycle, helmet, lock and toolset that is theirs to keep.
: GiGi’s Playhouse Cleveland is an achievement center that is breaking down barriers and changing the way the world sees individuals with Down syndrome. They change lives through consistent delivery of almost 20 free educational, therapeutic-based and career development programs for individuals with Down syndrome, their families and the community.
: House of Bread is located in Dayton, Ohio. Their mission is to prevent hunger by serving a hot nutritious lunchtime meal 365 days a year to anyone in need in the community. While guests enjoy lunch, they offer them referrals and assistance withÌýaccessing needed resources in the area.
: Meg’s Smile Foundation is a charitable organization that provides gifts and/or fun days to children affected by serious illnesses treated in North Carolina hospitals. Their mission is to bring smiles to the faces of these children, teens, young adults, and their families while they are going through what can be a very long and emotional journey.
